K-pop lately: a lot of pleasant surprises and comebacks

As you know by now, from time to time I like to show you some of my favourite comebacks, but mostly songs that are stuck in my head and I keep replaying.

I will just let you enjoy all the songs and MVs below, without any chit-chat at all. As you might notice, not all of the songs I picked are recently released, I just happened to come across them just now and felt the need to mention them.

No need for an Apology, this is my favorite song from 2015!

Apology reminds me a bit of WINNER but, since I love WINNER and I look at them as one of the bands that will grow in the future to step on BIGBANG’s footsteps *hopefully*, that’s great. Since both iKON and WINNER share the same company (YG Entertainment) and were part of the same show, I guess I will find a lot of similarities between these two in the future.

iKON is coming to town, are you ready to sing their Anthem?

This my #jam.

B.A.P is back Young, Wild & Free.

VIXX is all Chained up for the new comeback!

EXO can Love Me Right even in Japanese.

When I heard their were about to release a Japanese version of Love me right, I was pretty sure the MV will have a whole nother theme. But then again, EXO went with the game theme, just like they did for both the Korean and Chinese versions. I am guessing love is a game as well: your have to do it right and make all the right moves in order to get what you want, since there is no turning back.

EXO turn on a Lightsaber for their collaboration with STAR WARS!

Anyone in Monsta X could be my HERO!

I’ve liked Monsta X since the debut, I was pretty sure they were going to do great. Hero is such a catchy song, I ended up listening to it all the day long on repeat, but also peeking on the MV since it has all the cool choreography. The rooftop version is pretty dope, I like how they start off with dancing during the day, and then they just show off their dance moves during the night.

Don’t Monsta X members just have the cutest voices ever?

Hyungwon is still my number one Monsta X bias, he is such a cutie and he doesn’t even have to show an inch of his skin to get the ladies. Of course, no one does a better job at that that BIGBANG’s Choi Seung-hyun, and let’s not forget how many fangirls he has. Not that I did not notice Shownu and Wonho, but I did like them since they debuted with Trespass, back when I didn’t see any abs.

Hello Bitches, Seoul’s baddest female is back!

I am not so crazy about the song and lyrics, but I do like the beat and the choreography. There is no denying CL is hot, I still don’t get why people say she is not pretty, because she sure is. And even so, I think that being pretty is also about having the right attitude, and CL has a lot of that. Not to mention the dance moves, I am thrilled to see her busting all those moves.

BTS is about to have a comeback, Never Mind my wallet.

I feel that Never Mind was Min Yoongi’s time to shine, though it seems to me like he’s time to shine started ever since BTS was back with Dope. Suga was the idol I related to the most, but when his hair turned blonde, my bias list was ruined and he slowly made his way to the top of my bias list.

I need u gets a Japanese version and the MV is so aesthetically pleasing!

Well, I guess that’s it for the moment, let’s just wait and see what December will bring next when it comes to South Korean comebacks 🙂
