Unboxing another BTS album: Young Forever, day version

BTS's 'Young Forever', day version

Young Forever, day version

Since I haven’t done too many k-pop related unboxings lately, I figured out it’s about time I started doing them more often. I have been adding merch to my collection over the past months, but I never seem to get a chance to take pictures or record a video when opening the package.

I usually get really excited when I pick up the packages from the Post Office and open them as soon as I get in the car or as I ride the bus on my way home. I like to make sure that they are safe and sound, but I also check for photo cards and other stuff that the seller might gift with the merch I bought.

Celebrating my first year on Polyvore and what it meant for me

If lately I did not mention anything about Polyvore over here, it was because I did not get a chance to be as active as I used to be. That is about to change, I feel like my inspiration is back and I cannot wait to make new sets and join new contests.

I don’t know if having 6300 Polyvore followers means anything to other people, but for me it was a big surprise and seeing that my style could inspire others made me feel proud of myself. All my sets, collections and items managed to get over 49000 likes, and these numbers just make me want to get better at making sets and reach more and more people.

Early Christmas present: winning 1st place on a Polyvore contest

When I look back on 2015, I have to say that one of the things that I am most glad of is the fact that I came across Polyvore. Maybe for some of you it may seem like not such a big deal, but Polyvore was there for me at the right time and the right place.

Polyvore was that place that felt cozy enough to visit after a long day at the office, that kind of day that makes you want to take a vacation for the rest of your life. Once I started making sets or browsing thought the latest trends, all the bad things that happened that day just vanished from my mind.

Polyvore was the perfect way to show everyone my true style, even if I didn’t have the items in my closet or the money to buy them anytime soon. And I will admit, sometimes I just sat there, looking at my screen, thinking about how much I wanted a certain item.

Then, I reminded myself that I either had something like that already, had no money to buy it or that I would simply never actually wear it in real life. Still, there were some items that caught my eye and made it to my wish list, but for most of them I just tried out my luck on Polyvore contests.

Ok, so you already know I listen to k-pop. I have been talking about all the bands and songs I have on repeat, I have been making inspired by sets on Polyvore, and I also showed you of the merch I managed to buy until now. Before getting so into korean pop, I used to buy albums released by American singers, then I started getting them as presents from people that know and share my love for music.
